I think we’re all in agreement that NPH is dreamy. This just seals the deal.
I only see one flaw with this video:
Not nearly enough Matt Smith.
So this is one of the most beautiful fan trailers for Doctor Who I’ve ever seen. Whether you’re a long-time Whovian or someone who doesn’t understand why their dash is flooded with Doctor Who things every Saturday, watch this. It’s worth it.

Is it strange that despite my love of all things pregnancy and birth I have the hardest time watching TLCs “Baby Story”?
It was my favorite show back in the day but now I find it incredibly boring.
Should I be worried as this is my future career?
Or maybe I’m bored because I’m just watching and not in there doing anything?
Just a thought…
Did I forget to mention that I spent the weekend in Detroit?
Well after realizing that I’d been here all weekend without actually seeing Detroit, we drove into the city tonight for a quick look.
Here are my thoughts:
It wasn’t what I was expecting. Yes, it’s run down* and even in the heart of downtown you pass empty graffiti covered buildings with broken windows but there’s more to it.
It’s clean. Only on the backside of the block housing the baseball/football stadiums did I see any trash on the street.
It’s hodge podge, but in a good way. This is no cookie cutter city center filled with identical tall glass skyscrapers. It seemed like each and every building was old and unique with interesting architectural details. As we were driving around I was so busy looking at the unique details that I almost stopped noticing the broken emptiness.
Is it weird to say that I love this city? Maybe I’m just a sucker for a “former glory” sob story but I’d love a second date, Detroit. Of course it will be a “middle of the day, crowded public place” date but I’d very much like to get to know you better.
Maybe for the Indigo Girls concert in November? Yes? Alright, I’ll see you there.
*At one point, shortly after discovering the existence of the monorail, J & I remarked that it reminded us of Gotham City (circa Christian Bale-Batman days).
J, M, and I spent our last few hours together playing seperately on our phones.
Quality time, I know. AT least we did it together.
M and I both spent the entire time on Pinterest* and we shared our finds with J.
I’ve had Pinterest account for a few months but I tend to forget about it for long periods of time. Of course when I finally log on again, it turns into a manic episode.
I’m pretty sure I pinned several hundred** things tonight and only stopped when my Itouch died.
Like I said. Manic.

The Beaver
J, M, and I picked this up from Redbox on a whim. I had very low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised in the end.
For a movie that deals with mental illness I feel like they struck a good balance between comedy and reality. At the end of the movie you’re left with hope for Gibson’s character, Walter Black, and his family but not a gift wrapped happy ending that most movies seem to favor. In that way they were most true to their subject matter.
